Born and raised in the heart of Kalihi, this community shaped my values and taught me the importance of looking out for one another. My roots here run deep, from attending Fern and Farrington to learning the lessons of hard work that I carry with me today.

For more than 40 years, I have served our people through Parks & Recreation, Catholic Samoan youth organizations, and as a Business Agent for United Public Workers. From organizing the John A. Burns Games to standing at the bargaining table, my goal has always been to unite and advocate for those who call Kalihi home.

I am committed to standing with our workers and unions, protecting the public services we all rely on, and investing in our youth and families. Kalihi deserves a representative who will fight for the resources and respect our district earns every single day.

I am running for State Representative for District 30 – Kalihi and humbly ask for your support. Together, we can keep our community strong, equitable, and focused on our collective growth.

YOUTH INVESTMENT: SECURING THE FUTURE OF KALIHI

Fa'atea'a’s roots are deep in Kalihi. Growing up in the heart of the community, he attended Fern, Kaewai, Dole, and Farrington, learning the values of hard work and neighborly support that define him today. His lifelong service to our youth began early, coaching through Parks and Recreation and leading Catholic Samoan youth organizations to provide vital mentorship and guidance.

As a Business Agent for United Public Workers and the lead organizer of the John A. Burns Games, Fa'atea'a has spent his life uniting people and advocating for those who need it most. Whether on the basketball court or at the bargaining table, his focus has always been on collective growth and ensuring our community remains a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Now a candidate for State Representative of Kalihi, Fa'atea'a is ready to fight for District 30 in the legislature. He believes the path forward is built on supporting our families, schools, and most importantly, our next generation. For Fa'atea'a, the mission is simple: investing in our youth is investing in Hawaiʻi’s future.
